Air Purification and Surface Disinfection for Poultry Plants in the UAE and Gulf

JIMCO builds UV-C and ozone systems that reduce bacteria in the air and on surfaces without chemicals. In poultry plants that means lower microbial load in chill and cut-up halls, and more days of shelf life on fresh product. We supply, install and support every JIMCO system locally.

Raw to Ready

JIMCO does not sit at one point in the line. UV-C and ozone systems treat the air and the surfaces around every stage, from chilling through cut-up and packing, because airborne contamination does not respect the boundaries between them.

  1. Raw Clean air over live receiving and chilling
  2. Mixing Lower airborne bacteria in the cut-up hall
  3. Filling Surface disinfection where product meets tray
  4. Ready More days of shelf life on chilled product

What JIMCO builds

All JIMCO systems are designed, developed and manufactured in Denmark and work without added chemicals: UV-C light converts oxygen into ozone, which oxidises organic material and then reverts to oxygen, leaving no residue on product.

FLO-D surface disinfection

Fixed installations that disinfect surfaces in production areas without chemicals, reaching what a cloth cannot: the back of a handle, the underside of a conveyor, the inside of a shackle.

FLO-D Mini Mark 2

A mobile unit wheeled between rooms for targeted disinfection of a chill room, a cut-up area, a cooling tunnel or a hatchery, without taking the whole plant down.

FLO-K air purification

Removes odour, grease and organic compounds from exhaust air, which also keeps ventilation ducts clean and cuts the fire load they carry.

FLO-P grease and odour reduction

Built for exhaust from high temperature processes such as cooking and frying, where grease deposits and odour complaints are the recurring problem in further processing.

Room and air treatment units

Units that treat all the air in a room, often using the air conditioning already installed to distribute the effect rather than adding separate ductwork.

Built for

Built for poultry, and for anything chilled and exposed

Poultry is where this technology earns its keep fastest, from the hatchery through to chilled portions: product is exposed for most of the process, it is never sterilised, and shelf life or hatchability is short enough that small gains change the commercial picture. The same systems work anywhere product sits open in a cold, humid hall.

In the Gulf

Clean eggs into the setter, without chemical fumigation

A hatchery sets the ceiling for everything downstream. Hatching eggs arrive from several farms, and whatever is on the shell travels with them into the setter, where warmth and humidity turn a single contaminated tray into a batch-wide problem. The traditional answer is chemical fumigation, which brings its own burden: chemical handling, ventilation, waiting time before staff can re-enter, and a paper trail to satisfy the vet.

The FLO-D Mini treats eggs on the trolley automatically, using UV-C and ozone rather than chemicals, and records each treatment so the hatchery has documentation without writing it up by hand. JIMCO position it as a way to cut cross-contamination risk and protect hatchability. For a Gulf producer expanding capacity, it removes a chemical from the building and a job from the shift, which matters as much as the microbiology.
